CyberASAP Overview
CyberASAP (Cyber Security Academic Startup Accelerator Programme) is a unique programme designed to help academic researchers transform their cyber security ideas into commercially viable products and services. Supported by Innovate UK, CyberASAP guides participants through essential stages, from concept development to market validation, to bring innovative cyber security solutions to market.

CyberASAP is funded by the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and delivered by Innovate UK.
CyberASAP Pathfinder
To build on the achievements of the full programme and encourage future applicants, another CyberASAP Pathfinder short-programme will take place in January 2025. The programme is being run in partnership by Innovate UK Business Connect and Innovate UK with funding from DSIT.
CyberASAP Pathfinder will offer a fusion of virtual and in-person learning experiences over four days (two half days online & a two-day in-person bootcamp), thoughtfully tailored to support and encourage academic cyber security sector-specific commercialisation. The planned dates are:
- Preliminary half-day online workshop : Thu 9th January 2025 (morning)
- In-person two day bootcamp in Birmingham : Tue 14th – Wed 15th January 2025
- Concluding half-day online workshop : Tue 21st January 2025 (afternoon)
Applications to participate in CyberASAP Pathfinder should be made via the application form and are subject to review by the organisers and stakeholders.
The closing date for applications is Friday 29th November at 11:00 UK time.
