Inspire Cyber Project 2025

We’re excited to introduce Inspire Cyber: Unlocking Pathways to Cyber Careers with digiDNA, a fully funded initiative, delivered by Code Nation, designed to inspire unemployed adults (19+) and young people (aged 14-18) across the North West toward a future in the thriving cyber security sector.

Code Nation has secured funding from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology via Innovate UK; to deliver this project across the North West.

What is the Inspire Cyber Project?

Participants complete the digiDNA tech attributes tool, a 30-minute questionnaire designed to identify cyber aligned attributes. This can be accessed remotely via QR code and no prior technical skills are needed. Upon completion, they receive:

  • An AI-generated dashboard with a summary of their attributes, personalised career pathways, training options, and local job opportunities to assist careers conversations and choices.
  • tailored PDF report of their attributes and career alignment.

For those whose attributes align with cyber roles, they are offered:

  • A virtual Inspire Cyber session to learn more about the field.
  • A one-to-one career advice session to explore in more detail cyber careers.

For those not aligned with cyber security, alternative tech career recommendations and resources will be provided.

The deadline for questionnaires is 25th March 2025. Participants must be in full time education or unemployed to qualify.
